Our partnership with Mondel L’Atelier du Cinéma is a great opportunity to introduce Afro-descendant talents to the technical professions in the worlds of television and cinema.

On November 16th, Léa Dorcy, Jules Nerestant, and Aimé Michel Bahufite (who came all the way from Quebec City specifically for this opportunity) had the unique chance to observe the various roles on a film set. They were able to experience all the preparations involved in filming a scene, witness the enormous amount of work involved in lighting, and analyze the types of cameras to choose for the shoot. Accompanied by current students in the school's program, they were also able to ask all their questions to instructors and leading experts in the field, who were delighted to welcome them!

The aspiring filmmaker, Loïk André , who has completed several filming and editing projects for the Fondation Dynastie He also had the opportunity to participate in an internship as a technical assistant for camera setup on set.

We invite you to relive this day by watching the following video.
